Instructor - Boris Minkovskij  

Class Description: While gaining knowledge of the fundamental principles of perception— plane-structure, proportion — students in Boris Minkovskij classes will learn to construct object that accurately interpret the architecture and movement of the form in space. This solid foundation will enable students to express their personal creative vocabulary more clearly and effectively. The sculpture classes will consist of short and long sessions, acquainting students with the preliminary process of understanding the essentials of the form in space and providing the opportunity to develop a more complete sculpture. The class will consist of two-week and four-week work, allowing students to delve into the sculpting process in order to attain both concise and fully realized work. 

 About the Instructor Mr. Minkovskij work has appeared in exhibitions at the National Gallery of Georgia, The Museum of the City of Moscow, Russia; the Museum of the City of Bonn, Germany; the Art Museum, Worpswede, Germany; Alex Usher Gallery, Cologne, Germany; Barbara Grammer Gallery, Bonn, Germany; Annie Bovey Gallery, Leverkusen, Germany; BAM art Fort Lee, New Jersey.
